Waiting for summer: the new summer proposals for casual shirts

The weather forecast predicts a torrid summer, even hotter than previous ones. So the linen shirt, with its incomparable freshness and comfort, must necessarily take centre stage in the spring/summer 2019 collection, especially in the men’s shirts proposed by Xacus in the casual&sport category.

Large and small prints, yarn-dyed stripes like the Thomas Mason regimental styles, flowers and tropical patterns will emerge on basic fabrics to wear under a jacket.

We also rediscover the colour indigo appearing in many textures such as Chambray, etamine and embroidered fabrics.

Among the main new entries into the world of business casual we find a series of shirts created in an exclusive Chambray stripes from the famous Albini textile manufacturers. With large dimensions in the stripes, the colours are nevertheless soft and easy to match.

Korean collars, semi-spread and small cutaway collars, button-down and straight point collars will be variously seen among the informality of striped, floral and denim shirts and the essential classic shirts, always in plain colours but enhanced with light fabrics and reinforced weave.

Jersey, on the other hand, is the main fabric characterizing the Xacus Elements men’s shirt collection, and a “must have” is the precious lisle fabric in 100% cotton.

The mood of the Heritage capsule collection follows the hot summer trend of short-sleeved bowling shirts, together with lively Hawaiian prints created with light cotton muslins. Shirt-models faithful to an American style with a strong 1960s and ‘70s flavour – shirts that are sporty and refined at the same time, perfect to wear outside or inside trousers, strictly pleat-fronted ones.

A complete collection that leaves no room for indecision, while each occasion will find a place for a shirt with personality to be the central feature of your outfit.
