Pitti Immagine Uomo 2017: the most popular shirts with customers

It’s the last day of Pitti Uomo Immagine 2017, where the new fall/winter menswear collections were all presented.
There has been a wealth of items for national and international visitors to see, and it looks like every item is bursting with creativity and an almost infinite number of colours and shades.
Just as every year – and rightly so – some items were particularly popular with those in the industry and with the general public too.
These are the Xacus shirts that were especially popular with visitors to this 91st Pitti Uomo.

Unconventional classic: bouclé!

The original name says something about the special details.

The French term “bouclé” means “curled” or “looped”. And this is exactly what the patterned yarn of this shirt – the colour of a summer sky and a child of the Beluga Washed line - is like. Created by combining two yarns on a special twister, where the first – known as the effect yarn, is fed in up to 2-3 times more compared to the second yarn, known as the base, leading to the formation of tiny loops.
This causes the classic stripes to become incorporated into the shirt itself, becoming an integral part of it.

Flanell-lino is back.

The perfect combination of two fabrics is back, translated into a revolutionary hybrid: flanell-lino, made with a natural, eco-friendly fibre.
Created thanks to the ingenuity and creativity of Gruppo Albini, this flannel, made in 100% linen features a gauze finish that gives it a soft, warm heart.
The check pattern of this Beluga Washed shirt is ideal for wearing for a few hours in a chalet after skiing.

50 shades of grey – melange

Created with the aim of mixing yarns consisting of fibres in different colour, creating a shaded effect where the colours embrace one another, these Classic Washed shirts are a perfect match for woollen trousers, jackets and coats to create a look with an unmistakable style.

Jersey: a long story

With its unique and particular history, this Beluga Washed shirt leaves its mark from first glance.
Its core is Jersey, a fabric that on its own is not even considered a fabric as it is made using knitwear machines.
It is only thanks to the revolutionary ideas of Coco Chanel that Jersey was able to make its entry into the fashion world and never leave it.
The refined design makes Jersey the perfect fabric for different occasions.

Forget to iron

The Travel Shirt is the crease-free shirt for smooth style in every sense of the word.
The special treatment means it will not crease or crumple because it uses the body temperature and moisture to stay just the way it is.
Artisan workmanship, together with industrial techniques and material technology make this the perfect shirt for those seeking an impeccable look, even after a long journey.

Unique, unconventional and always elegant: Xacus shirts are the perfect answer to the season’s trends and they are a perfect success with the public.
