The top Xacus shirts for visitors to White Milano

The WHITE Show in Milan closed its gates on Monday 25 September. The second edition of the fair held in Milan this year has set a new record: 26,611 visitors, 20% more compared with 2016. And this was not the only positive statistic registered during this edition: the number of Italian buyers in attendance rose by 22% and the flow from overseas by no less than 40%.
The fact that the event was held at the same time as Milano Fashion Week, the two new locations and the longer duration compared to 2016 definitely influenced the increase in numbers. There’s no doubt about it: the event is growing and here at Xacus we are proud to be part of it.

The higher visitor flow was also registered at stand 121 in the Superstudios in via Tortona 27, where the Xacus women’s shirts from the SS 2018 collection were exhibited. Three shirts in particular vied for the public’s attention. Three shirts to keep a close eye on, as they look set to be the stars of the season to come.

A lively sleeveless number in yellow checked poplin. The colour is a reference to summer and together with white, it brings a sense of light and radiance to the entire outfit. The tapered cut and its length make this shirt cool and multi-functional: it can also be flaunted as a mini-dress, matched with a pair of leggings.

If you’re looking for a versatile garment that puts a modern slant on the meaning of the word shirt, look no further than Giselle. This women’s shirt is made of silk with light blue and white stripes. Another two summer colours which become comfortable and sensual at the same time in Giselle, thanks to its oversize fit and small neck. For an eclectic, unique look, it is matched with a pair of yoga pant trousers in the same fabric.

Another loose-fitting shirt but one with shorter style than the others. It can fall comfortably over trousers or be worn with a belt, pulled in at the waist to enhance the wearer’s curves, creating original, trendy outfits. Ritae comes in different materials such as silk schantung, lightweight poplin or indigo oxford cloth.

With this short preview of the next season, we will just leave you with enough time to imagine yourself wearing these shirts, matched with your own favourite pieces. See you in March 2018, when the entire collection will be revealed….save the date!
