Women’s shirts, blouses, dresses and shirtdresses: the look for women in the F/W 2019 trends

Following the major event with White Milano that has just finished, we’re ready to offer you some previews of the new Fall/Winter 2019 women’s collection.

It’s a collection that will redesign the silhouette of the Xacus woman, upgrading its style content with solutions in line with the latest trends in the fashion world. While maintaining a precise, contemporary identity, the range of women’s shirts, blouses, shirtdresses and dresses will dialogue with the traditional standards of men’s fashions in an alchemy of cross-contaminations and modern reinterpretations.

Once again, we start from a preference for women’s shirts in white, the colour that is at the heart of our stylistic proposals and the one that symbolizes Xacus, and we then move on to garments that reinterpret seasonal trends through a mix of cleverly reworked prints, flannels and checks.

Comfort, versatility and a minimal elegance are again the mainstays of our woman’s collection.

Take the case of the blue shirtdress, a practical style with long pleated skirt and side-seam pockets. It’s a versatile, but at the same time chic classic that reappears season after season as a “must” for the woman who loves on-trend clothes suitable for any occasion and any time of the day. Embellishing the outfit we have a coloured scarf or a tubular belt at the waist, to make it perfect right down to the last detail.

The search for a more defiant look exuding effortless chic finds its greatest expression in the long striped overshirt with French half-collar and classic cuff. The side vents, the pockets inserted in the seams down the sides, the front opening and use of a belt with small studs make this proposal even more versatile and multi-use, as it can be worn also as a dress or tucked in, blouson-wise, over trousers, in perfect ‘80s style.

A woman who prefers to play with oversize volumes and mixed colours can, however, opt for daring patterns such as stripes and checks. Our oversize woman’s shirt, for example, creates an asymmetrical, relaxed look, reinterpreting classic style with narrow shirt collar and a man’s shirt cuff.
