In the heartland of Milan’s shopping area, Via Durini is tinged with Hawaiian colours and offers dreams of a pure American-style summer until 5 April next, through the showcase of the famous Brian&Barry Building.
Xacus shirts take centre stage again, with the three “must-have” themes for summer: the ever-present linen shirt for sophisticated but sporty combinations, the Korean-collar man’s shirt – more and more popular in the latest fashion trends – and a lot of space given to floral patterns. Surfing culture, reinterpreted in a contemporary key, gives us some fabulous vintage hints of the 1970s.
Designed in the 1950s by architect Giovanni Muzio, the Brian&Barry Building is today a boutique megastore on 12 floors, four of which are dedicated entirely to the world of men’s and women’s fashions.
And that’s not all: very soon the Xacus summer showcase will touch down in some of the main Italian cities. Next stop, from 5 to 19 April, will be at the prestigious Corso 15 boutique in Verona, a magical city preparing to host Vinitaly 2019 during the same period.
