The touch of style of Xacus shirts in the January edition of Best Editorials

Lots of ways to talk about and interpret Xacus shirts. In Best Editorials, the best periodicals in the world of international fashion choose the quality and elegance of the Italian tailored shirt to dress the modern man with style. So here are some of the Bests of January 2019.

We open the review with Gentleman Italia which dedicates a special feature to the shirt-tie combination: seven proposals, including the pale blue Xacus shirt in textured cotton, playing a winning double. In the same magazine, the spotlight is on one of the must-haves of the winter season and men’s sportswear: the checked flannel shirt in classic red and black shades.

There’s a change of scene with Corriere della Sera’s Style Magazine, which proposes the return of a neo-dandy look in the San Francisco feature. For day and office wear: checked or grey pinstripe wool suit, tailored Xacus, shirts with contrast collar, patterned ties, Oxford shoes, a felt fedora hat and a black leather briefcase. For city nightlife, on the other hand, the proposed outfit comprises a suit, white shirt and black-tie combination, with a more casual touch supplied by a suede jacket or waxed trench-coat. All elements with a vintage flavour that define a new dress-code for the Bay Area.

Moving on to Vanity Fair, a new type of male elegance is described here, with a mix of sports garments in bright colours and relaxed lines, sneakers and oversize coats in technical fabric, and the symbolic, traditional menswear garments like the classic white shirt. We find the Xacus white shirt again, together with jacket and tie, in L’Uomo Vogue which offers a very fresh total white look with a rock’n’roll soul.
