Wear the elegance of the Italian Riviera, with the summer collection by Xacus

The Xacus stand at Pitti Immagine Uomo is all about the typical atmosphere of Italy’s marvellous coastal resorts. The landscapes and atmospheres of Capri, Amalfi, Portofino and Venice have all inspired the Xacus Riviera collection.

Riviera is a new capsule collection of shirts. The colours, stolen from the summertime, have been used to create oversize stripes. Yellow, red, blue, pink and baby blue come together and alternate with one another on cool, lightweight fabrics that are just perfect for the summer season. As well as cotton shirts, we also have exceptional poplins by Thomas Mason, and the essential linen shirt in a softer palette of pastels in 24 different shades – 12 in sailor stripes and 12 in yarn-dyed plain colours.

The shirts all have the standout feature of Australian mother-of-pearl buttons and a gentle, impeccable fit that features a seam-free yoke – thanks to the fact that the armholes have been quarter lapped on the inside, by hand – and with soft yet supported collars and cuffs.

This capsule is dedicated to the elegant man, the young traveller with a love of the colours of Italy’s most beautiful coastlines. It is also perfect for the metropolitan dandy, with his eye for fashion but no intention of becoming a victim to it. Ideal shirts that combine sartorial elegance with casual style in the typical harmonious blend we usually find in towns like Positano or Portofino.

Xacus Riviera tells the story of that knowing how to dress that uses classic, “lived-in” garments together with the soft, casual shapes of shirts with deconstructed collars, but without every forgetting elegant touches and details such as exclusive buttons with customised finishes.

The men’s summer shirts in this capsule collection will be on sale with the new spring/summer 2018 collection in the most exclusive tourist resorts, as well as in stores and in Xacus’ own online shop.
